THIRTY ONE KINDS OF WONDERFUL is a series of 31 hand-made objects. An object was crafted each day over a period of 31 days — a month out of those years spent in Paris. All 31 objects are made from commonly found materials in the studio, such as paper, yarn, confetti, cotton, tissue, rock, glass and the occasional flea market tchotchke collected from daily walks through the swirling arrondissements. Repurposed and reimagined, these bits and bobs form pieces of sculpture, jewelry, clothes, mobiles, accessories and furniture. Each object is a bespoke, one-of-one edition that celebrates the everyday.
